The EdUP project has opened a new shelter in Zaporizhzhia, a city located near the front line. This space serves both as a safe refuge for students and a learning environment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>

Thanks to funding from the Swiss government and private partners, as well as support from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the shelter was almost entirely rebuilt from the ground up.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

EdUP<\/span> continues<\/span> to<\/span> strengthen<\/span> the<\/span> infrastructure<\/span> of<\/span> vocational<\/span> education<\/span> in<\/span> Ukraine<\/span>, <\/span>creating<\/span> comfortable<\/span> and<\/span> safe<\/span> learning<\/span> conditions<\/span> for<\/span> future<\/span> professionals<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The 210-square-meter facility has been fully equipped with essential utilities, a fire alarm system, and modern renovations to ensure a comfortable learning environment. Additionally, new functional furniture has been purchased, making the space both convenient and welcoming.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The shelter will not only provide a secure place for students and teachers during air raid alerts but will also serve as a continuous learning space\u2014an essential element for vocational education institutions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\"I am proud to collaborate with the EdUP project, as it provides a strong impetus for the development of vocational education. Our institution participates in this project with two specialties\u2014electrical fitter and electric gas welder\u2014and we see tangible benefits for the education system. Our instructors and students enthusiastically take part in seminars, competitions, and experience exchanges. \ud83d\udccd <\/span>Special<\/span> attention<\/span> has<\/span> been<\/span> given<\/span> to<\/span> inclusivity<\/span>: <\/span>the<\/span> shelter<\/span> is<\/span> equipped<\/span> with<\/span> an<\/span> accessible<\/span> restroom<\/span> and<\/span> a <\/span>lift<\/span> for<\/span> individuals<\/span> with<\/span> limited<\/span> mobility<\/span>, <\/span>ensuring<\/span> equal<\/span> access<\/span> to<\/span> a <\/span>safe<\/span> environment<\/span> for<\/span> all<\/span> learners<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It<\/span> is<\/span> crucial<\/span> to<\/span> remember<\/span> that<\/span> during<\/span> times<\/span> of<\/span> war<\/span>, <\/span>vocational<\/span> education<\/span> becomes<\/span> even<\/span> more<\/span> essential<\/span>. <\/span>Skilled<\/span> workers<\/span>, <\/span>particularly<\/span> in<\/span> the<\/span> construction<\/span> sector<\/span>, <\/span>play<\/span> a <\/span>key<\/span> role<\/span> in<\/span> rebuilding<\/span> infrastructure<\/span> and<\/span> strengthening<\/span> Ukraine’s<\/span> economy<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
