The <\/span>EdUP<\/span> Project “Public-Private Partnership<\/span> to <\/span>Improv<\/span>e<\/span> Vocational Education in Ukraine,” implemented by <\/span>Swisscontact<\/span> in Ukraine, <\/span>participated<\/span> in the international exhibition<\/span> Rebuild Ukraine <\/span>held <\/span>in Warsaw.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The event brought together over five hundred participants from 30 countries. Its goal was to attract international financing for the restoration of Ukrainian communities, support Ukrainian energy sector enterprises in the restoration of critical infrastructure objects, and attract investors to cities and regions in Ukraine.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The EdUP Project “Public-Private Partnership to Improve Vocational Education in Ukraine” took part in the activities of the Swiss pavilion.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The importance of vocational education development was emphasized by businesses, government officials, representatives of civil organizations, Swiss and Ukrainian diplomats.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\"Vocational education is a priority for economic development and the foundation for rebuilding Ukraine, especially for people returning from abroad and internally displaced persons. Another important factor is the collaboration between vocational education institutions and businesses in Ukraine's regions, which is currently rapidly developing.\"\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\"One of the secrets of Swiss success is the vocational education system. Two-thirds of young people in Switzerland pursue a profession in vocational education institutions instead of going to universities. This is the basis of quality, a concept often associated with Switzerland. It is also the foundation for many innovations because progress requires both inventors and people who can implement these inventions in practice.\" \t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

During the exhibition, the project’s goals were presented to <\/span>stakeholders<\/span>. These goals include fostering collaboration between vocational education institutions and business representatives, promoting construction professions, and equipping education seekers with skills that meet the needs of the labor market, enabling them to obtain well-paid jobs.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\"The war has brought changes to doing business, and the industry deeply feels the shortage of skilled labor. Therefore, investments in vocational education for sector companies are a crucial mission. As manufacturers, we are ready to share our expertise with teachers who will convey it to education seekers in vocational education institutions. This will contribute to the faster recovery of Ukraine.\"\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

During the international Rebuild Ukraine exhibition, new contacts were <\/span>established<\/span> between business representatives, non-governmental organizations, and charitable foundations, as well as associations of entrepreneurs from different countries interested in cooperation with the project and the development of vocational education in Ukraine. Opportunities for cooperation with representatives of territorial communities were also explored within the Ukrainian pavilion.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
