The <\/span>EdUP<\/span> project “Public-Private Partnership to Improved Vocational Education in Ukraine” organized the 5th Educational and Practical Conference “Innovations in Sanitary Engineering Education” <\/span>in Kyiv<\/span>. The conference was attended by teachers and masters of vocational training in the profession “Sanitary and Technical Systems and Equipment Installer” from 26 vocational education institutions, as well as companies <\/span>Geberit<\/span>, Grundfos, Herz, and Wavin.<\/span> S<\/span>peakers and trainers from these leading manufacturers introduced advanced technologies in the field of engineering systems.<\/span> Afterward, every <\/span>teacher<\/span><\/span> could <\/span>participate<\/span> in practical sessions at the company booths.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Experts<\/span> from<\/span> Grundfos<\/span> conducted<\/span> research<\/span> on<\/span> heating<\/span> pump<\/span> construction<\/span> and<\/span> floor<\/span> heating<\/span> system<\/span> configuration<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

During<\/span> the<\/span> conference<\/span>, <\/span>Geberit<\/span> presented<\/span> a <\/span>textbook<\/span> on<\/span> bathroom<\/span> design<\/span>, <\/span>and<\/span> all<\/span> conference<\/span> participants<\/span> received<\/span> copies<\/span>. <\/span>An<\/span> expert<\/span> from<\/span> Wavin<\/span> demonstrated<\/span> the<\/span> correct<\/span> technology<\/span> for<\/span> welding<\/span> polypropylene<\/span> pipes<\/span> and<\/span> fittings<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

HERZ <\/span>Ukraine<\/span> presented<\/span> the<\/span> textbook<\/span> “<\/span>Hydraulics<\/span> – <\/span>the<\/span> Heart<\/span> of<\/span> Water<\/span> Heating<\/span>” <\/span>and<\/span> demonstrated<\/span> an<\/span> exclusive<\/span> technology<\/span> for<\/span> balancing<\/span> the<\/span> heating<\/span> system<\/span>, <\/span>installing<\/span> and<\/span> replacing<\/span> thermostatic<\/span> valves<\/span> and<\/span> thermostatic<\/span> regulators<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\"As for these two topics, there is a significant knowledge gap. The equipment is new, but the manuals are still from Soviet times. However, according to current building standards, balancing the heating system is a mandatory requirement. Therefore, the company makes efforts to provide the relevant information,\"\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The<\/span> Ministry<\/span> of<\/span> Education<\/span> and<\/span> Science<\/span> noted<\/span> the<\/span> successful<\/span> format<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> event<\/span>, <\/span>particularly<\/span> the<\/span> focus<\/span> on<\/span> sessions<\/span> where<\/span> educators<\/span> from<\/span> vocational<\/span> education<\/span> institutions<\/span> can<\/span> master<\/span> modern<\/span> technologies<\/span> and<\/span> acquire<\/span> new<\/span> skills<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
