The first module of the training course “Inclusion as Embracing Diversity in the Educational Environment,” conducted within the EdUP project, has been completed. The Module II has started!

In Truskavets, 24 specialists from the partner institutions of the EdUP project gathered for the second part of this module. Among them were 12 psychologists, 9 social educators, and 3 deputy directors for educational work.

Five mentor-trainers from the Ukrainian Association of Supervision and Coaching guided the participants, supported them in addressing complex topics, shared practical experiences, and provided feedback to enhance understanding and integration of the acquired knowledge into their professional activities.

The training focused on the theme “Specific Features of Adolescent Minorities.” Participants deeply explored three key aspects:

  • Girls among boys in vocational construction professions.
  • Orphans among children from complete families.
  • Adolescents with disabilities in the educational environment.

Training Format:
The three-day training consisted of a theoretical segment for all participants and practical sessions in two working groups (15–20 participants in each). During the practical sessions, participants completed tasks, received guidance, and discussed results in small groups.

Post-Training:
The next phase of the training involves consolidating the acquired knowledge and skills during two months of online sessions. This format includes weekly or bi-weekly meetings, support in completing assignments, and additional assistance to deepen the material.

This approach not only ensures high-quality theoretical learning but also facilitates the integration of new practices into the daily work of psychologists and social educators in vocational education, promoting the development of an inclusive educational environment.
