Panel Discussion: Architecture and the Appeal of VET

Panel Discussion: Architecture and the Appeal of VET
Yuliia Yepifanova, Head of the EdUP Project, spoke at the sectoral panel “How We Make VET Attractive and What Architecture Has to Do with It.” The discussion focused on the “New VET” guide developed within the framework of the Public-Private Partnership for Improving Vocational Education in Ukraine.

“To promote VET, we’ve focused on two key factors that influence its appeal: partnerships and infrastructure. Vocational education needs safe learning environments and the active involvement of businesses — both as potential employers and mentors for students.”

Dmytro Zavhorodnii, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine for Digital Development, emphasized the importance of infrastructure renewal in VET.

“It’s important to transform not only the appearance but also the functionality and accessibility of educational institutions. This transformation is possible thanks to the EdUP Project. We continue to invest more in educational infrastructure this year and hope that the tools and guidance we’ve developed will help make this process more effective.”
