The EdUP project organized a hands-on training for vocational teachers with the support of Geberit, the project’s main private donor. The event took place in Kyiv, at the company’s training center.
Representatives from 22 VET schools, partners of the Project, took part. The trainers were Anton Shovkovyi, Geberit expert, and Roman Letnianka, invited expert and installer.
📌 The aim of the training was to strengthen the practical competencies and professional skills of vocational trainers, who in turn will introduce modern technologies into the teaching process.
The training program included:
Theoretical module No. 1: presentation “Duofix 4.0”;
Theoretical module No. 2: “Restrooms for People with Disabilities”;
Practical group work based on modules No. 1 / No. 2 (“Duofix 4.0” / “Restrooms for People with Disabilities”);
Presentation and practical workshop of module No. 3: “FlowFit”.
New modern equipment and installations are constantly appearing on the market, and teachers need to know how to mount them in order to train their students. It is equally important that during such trainings, teachers exchange experiences and strive for even better results.
Anton Shovkovyi, Geberit expert
Regular trainings for teachers are key to the qualitative modernization of vocational education. They not only help educators acquire new knowledge but also integrate modern technologies into the learning process, making the preparation of future specialists more practical and competitive.
