The course “Inclusion as Acceptance of Diversity in the Educational Environment” is aimed at addressing modern challenges, particularly those arising due to the war and the needs of veterans and internally displaced persons (IDPs).

✏️The program covers important topics:

I: 1. Principles of adult education. 2. Introduction to the topic of diversity.
II: 1. Adult education for veterans. 2. IDPs in the educational environment.
III: 1. Features of adolescent minorities: girls among boys.
2. Features of adolescent minorities: orphans among children from full families.
3. Features of adolescent minorities: children with disabilities.
IV: 1. The importance of effective communication: between educators and learners.
2. The role of the facilitator: Discussion of the role and responsibilities of the facilitator in the educational process.
3. Tools for conducting training on working with various inclusive groups.

🔹 From October 1 to October 3, 2024, the FIRST TRAINING MODULE of the course took place in Zakarpattia. Thirteen psychologists, 10 social educators, and 2 deputy directors from 21 vocational education institutions across Ukraine participated. They worked on such topics as “Principles of Adult Education” and “Introduction to the Topic of Diversity.”

Over the next 2 months, participants will continue their learning online, reinforcing the material before the next module.

🔹 After the course is completed in August 2025, each participant will be able to train the teaching staff in their region, making education more inclusive and better adapted to the needs of society.
