Grant Writing Training - DONE
In December 2022-February 2023, 58 representatives of VET schools participating in EdUP Project took part in two grantwriting workshops:
- "Erasmus+ for«Erasmus+ for Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Vocational Higher Education"
- «Projects drafting. EU Funds».
The trainings were a continuation of the efforts to develop and implement strategic business plans for the Project VET schools.
Teams of institutions actively participated in the training, did homework and worked on developing project proposals from their institutions. The participants were able to go through all the stages of project proposal preparation step by step, learned the “unwritten secrets” of successful grant applications, and had the opportunity to get acquainted with existing donors and their requirements.
The result was new knowledge and 13 project proposals aimed at achieving the strategic goals of the VET schools, including the creation of a labour market monitoring system, ensuring the energy efficiency of the institution, creating new training and practical centres, and other promising topics.
"Thanks to the training, participants gained comprehensive knowledge of the project management approach, improved their planning and goal-setting skills, and the ability to formulate the goal, challenges, objectives, and ways to implement the project. The training also helped to improve the teamwork efficiency."

The training programme from the Erasmus+ Ukraine office covered international mobility, capacity building in vocational and professional higher education, professional skills centres and other opportunities
The training programme “Project Writing. EU Funds” was developed in cooperation with the Central European Academy Studies and Certifications Foundation (CEASC) and the NGO “Association of Project Managers of Ukraine” and included an introduction to the project approach, project development, project types, project and project application structure, project budget – key principles, mistakes to avoid, project support period.
