Heads of VET institutions, participants of the EdUP project, took part in the training “Thinking in a Creative Way.”
During the training, participants were introduced to tools for using creative thinking to solve key problems and management challenges. These skills will help educational leaders not only adapt to changes but also be leaders who set the direction, creating an innovative educational environment.
"Creative thinking is an opportunity to see possibilities where usually only limitations are noticeable, and in the field of vocational education in Ukraine, there are more than enough, both imaginary and real. A significant part of these problems cannot be solved by increasing funding or improving the material and technical base."
Mykola Skyba, head of the "Expanding Educational Offerings" direction of the EdUP project
The training aimed not only to teach the heads of VET institutions to use creative techniques in their work but also to stimulate them to implement these practices into the overall educational strategy of the institution, thereby enhancing the quality of the educational process and student engagement. Such an approach will contribute to the formation of a new generation of professionals ready to meet the challenges of the modern job market.
"A change in worldview and a fresh perspective on the role that vocational education institutions can play in Ukrainian society today are needed. Here, creative thinking skills become an additional advantage for a leader who is open to changes and focused on development."
Denys Bloshchynskyi, trainer
Thus, creative thinking opens new horizons for VET leaders, providing them with tools to transform challenges into opportunities. Implementing these skills in the management of vocational education institutions can significantly enhance the effectiveness of the educational process, making it more adaptive and responsive to the needs of the modern world. Thanks to this approach, the Ukrainian system of vocational education will not only meet modern requirements but also serve as an example of innovative development for other countries.
